I see the clear blue skies
The dew on the flowers
And flowers in bloom
The white crane flock
In a V-shaped crew
Glide to the field
In low altitude
The rain after a while
Changes the mood
Of the dusty brown earth
Of us dwellers too
The huge green trees
By the sidewalk stand
While capitalism
Shakes our hand
How the simple day break
With hopes generate
Yet another new hope
From yesterday’s grey
The little humming bird
By the office window sill
Raps on the dark glass
With its large curved beak
How the wag of a tail
Or the mew of a cat
And a pat on each head
Takes the mule off the pack
Thank God at least some
Of Nature’s still free
Innocently they speak
In their vibes- carefree
